Pitru Paksh is considered a form of Shraddha  and faith.  There are four dates are very special in Shraddha.

These dates are considered very important.  Matri Navami , 7 October 2023.

On this day call a poor Brahmin women respectfully to her house and serve her food. Pitru Paksha Ekadashi ,10th October 2023. These Ekadashi is also called Indira Ekadashi .Brahmin should be fed on this day.

Chaturdashi in Pitru paksh,14th October 2023. Chaturdashi Shraddha is considered very important in PitriPaksha.

On  this day,  Shraddha is performed for those people who have died on untimely death. Sarvapitri Amavasya,15 October 2023

 Sarvapitri Amavasya is the last day of Pitri Paksha ,on this day Shraddha is performed for those people whose death is not known.
