Weather News: The weather is undergoing significant changes, characterized by strong winds that are sweeping across much of North India, resulting in a noticeable drop in temperature. Nevertheless, several regions are enjoying warm sunshine, which contributes to rising daytime temperatures. A slight chill persists during the mornings and evenings. In the regions of Kashmir and Himachal, heavy snowfall has resulted in sub-zero temperatures in various locations.

The westerly winds affecting western Uttar Pradesh have once again introduced a chill to the atmosphere. In certain areas of the northeastern states, light drizzle has contributed to a decrease in temperatures. Conversely, many parts of Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh are experiencing a surge in heat due to rising temperatures. The India Meteorological Department has predicted rain and thunderstorms in multiple regions across the country, issuing an alert for anticipated rainfall in the upcoming week.

According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature on February 15 is expected to drop to 11°C, with a maximum reaching 27°C. The sky is anticipated to be partly cloudy. Furthermore, light fog is likely to occur on February 16, 17, and 18. During this three-day period, the minimum temperature may vary between 12°C and 14°C, while the maximum is projected to reach 29°C.

Rain Likely In Delhi, Northeastern States

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicts rainfall in Delhi on February 19, with temperatures potentially dropping to 13 degrees Celsius and rising to a maximum of 28 degrees Celsius. On February 20, the minimum temperature may be approximately 14°C, while the maximum could reach 27°C.

Additionally, the IMD has issued a warning for rain and strong winds across the northeastern states. Heavy rainfall is anticipated in Arunachal Pradesh from February 15 to 20, with similar alerts for Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, and Manipur.

Weather in Uttar Pradesh

The latest update from the IMD suggests that Uttar Pradesh may experience overcast skies beginning February 19. Winds are expected to blow at speeds of 20 to 30 kilometers per hour across both regions of the state on Friday. The IMD forecasts that these wind speeds will persist in eastern and western Uttar Pradesh on February 14. The weather is expected to remain dry on February 15, with similar conditions continuing through February 16, 17, and 18. However, there may be some light rainfall in western Uttar Pradesh on February 19.
