Operation Sindoor and caste census

During the meeting, two significant resolutions were adopted: one concerning Operation Sindoor and the other regarding the caste census. Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde remarked, “Two resolutions were passed, the first on Operation Sindoor and the second on the caste census. Everyone expressed gratitude and congratulated our armed forces and Prime Minister Modi for the success of Operation Sindoor.”

The resolution on Operation Sindoor was put forward by Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma and received support from Eknath Shinde. JP Nadda mentioned, “The ongoing campaign against Naxalites was also a topic of discussion… Our Chhattisgarh CM shared insights on our efforts against Naxalism and the successes we are achieving. Chhattisgarh’s Home Minister Vijay Sharma emphasized our initiatives to rehabilitate Naxal-affected regions and integrate them into the mainstream.”

Union Home Minister Amit Shah provided the leaders with an overview of the Centre’s approach to combating Left-wing extremism. “He guided us and informed all the Chief Ministers and Deputy Chief Ministers about how we have leveraged our strengths to overcome it,” Nadda added.

The caste census proposal was brought forth by Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini and backed by Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, according to Nadda.

Uttar Pradesh’s Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya reaffirmed that the caste census is in line with the BJP’s constitutional obligations. “We also talked about the caste census, which is included in the BJP’s Constitution,” he stated.

During the session, several chief ministers showcased important welfare and development initiatives from their states. The meeting also honored the victims of the April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam, paying tribute to those who lost their lives.

“PM Modi doesn’t have blood in his veins, but hot sindoor,”

Eknath Shinde, while addressing the meeting, commended PM Modi and Operation Sindoor. He remarked that the NDA has demonstrated that the saying “those who clash with us will be destroyed” is not merely a phrase but a reality.

He further noted that Operation Sindoor has fostered a renewed sense of self-assurance and pride among ordinary Indians. “We commend the Centre’s policies, the valor of our armed forces, and the bravery of Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” Shinde expressed.

In reference to PM Modi’s recent remark, “PM Modi doesn’t have blood in his veins, but hot sindoor,” Shinde stated, “The 140 crore citizens of this nation take pride in you. It is the fortune of every individual that we have a brave, noble, and selfless patriot like you as our Prime Minister.”

“Operation Sindoor will be remembered as a decisive response to those who sought to disrupt India’s peaceful development journey,” Shinde asserted. He emphasized that the operation signifies the NDA government’s steadfast dedication to India’s sovereignty and the protection of its citizens.
