MP Assembly Election Result 2023: These 3 decisions of the BJP led to a bumper victory

BJP got bumper victory

MP Assembly Election Result 2023: BJP got bumper victory in Madhya Pradesh. The question is what is the reason for this record victory of BJP in Madhya Pradesh? Since the initial phase of the election campaign in the state, the BJP has been moving forward with a complete strategy.

According to political analysts, it is due to the magic of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the strategy of Home Minister Amit Shah, and Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s game-changer Laadli Bahna Yojana (in which monthly financial assistance of Rs 1250 is given to 1.31 crore women out of 2.72 crore women voters). BJP is on the way to a bumper victory in the assembly elections. BJP remains in power with a huge victory in Madhya Pradesh and Shivraj Singh Chauhan has also made the record of being the Chief Minister for the longest period.

PM Modi held a road show with 14 public meetings in Madhya Pradesh

In fact, after the announcement of the elections, Prime Minister Modi also held a road show along with 14 public meetings in Madhya Pradesh. To retain power in Madhya Pradesh, the BJP had great faith in the charisma of the Prime Minister, and huge crowds gathered at his rallies and kept cheering for Modi. The party’s election campaign was woven into the minds of MPs around slogans and mantras like Modi. To overcome anti-incumbency fatigue, the BJP party kept Chauhan, its longest-serving Chief Minister of the country, a little behind and focused more on Sanatan and Modi. On the last day of the election campaign, PM Modi addressed three election rallies and also held a road show. Amit Shah also participated in road shows along with rallies on the last day.

It is noteworthy that the BJP has ruled the state from 2003 to December 2018 and again from March 2020 till now. Congress came to power for 15 months in 2018. Now once again the voters of Madhya Pradesh have handed over the keys of power to BJP. During the elections, Shah, considered Chanakya of BJP, toured the state extensively. He once stayed in Madhya Pradesh for three days to suppress the discontent after ticket distribution. He pacified the rebels, prepared the party workers for campaigning, and also listened to them. In September, Shah took upon himself the difficult task of controlling the election management and formulating the strategy. On the other hand, to keep away the anti-incumbency wave, he did not present Chauhan as the chief ministerial candidate.

Due to central instructions, Chauhan did not even take out Jan Ashirwad Yatra

This was the first time since 2003 that BJP came to power and has not presented the face of its Chief Minister. Perhaps due to central instructions, Chauhan did not even take out Jan Ashirwad Yatra (seeking public blessings) to reach out to the public before the elections. In its place, five Jan Ashirwad Yatras were taken out, which were flagged off by party president JP Nadda, Amit Shah, Union Ministers Nitin Gadkari and Rajnath Singh. Shah planned carefully for Madhya Pradesh as the BJP had lost the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections by a narrow margin.

The central leadership of BJP handed over the election reins of the state to Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections by appointing Union Minister Bhupendra Yadav as state election in-charge and Ashwini Vaishnav as co-in-charge. A week later, on July 15, the party appointed Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar as the convenor of his election management committee for the MP elections.

Kamal Nath’s charisma did not work

At the same time, MP Congress chief Kamal Nath announced the Nari Samman Yojana, in which his party promised to provide financial assistance of Rs 1500 to women in the state if they come to power. In response to this announcement of Congress, on March 5, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan came up with the Ladli Yojana and provided the first installment in June. Now it is clear from the election results that Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan’s Ladli Yojana became a game-changer. Chouhan announced Rs 1,000 per month for women and said the assistance would be gradually increased to Rs 3,000 in increments of Rs 250 per month.

Ladli Behna Yojana

The result was that during the voting on 17th November, women voters voted effectively in favor of BJP. 77.82 percent voting was recorded in MP, in which about 76.02 percent of women voters voted. Out of the total number of women voters of 2.72 crore, 1.31 crore were the beneficiaries of Ladli Behna Yojana. The total number of voters in MP is 5 crore 60 lakh 60 thousand 925. The plan of BJP i.e. the saffron party was such that it announced its first list of 39 candidates on August 17, about three months before the elections. On the contrary, Congress Relying heavily on its chief ministerial candidate and warrior Kamal Nath (76 years), announced the first list of 144 candidates on November 17. The BJP, with its well-organized organization machinery, not only lagged behind the Congress in announcing its candidate. Left him but even defeated him in the campaign.

Apart from PM Modi and Shah, BJP chief JP Nadda, Union Minister Rajnath Singh, Nitin Gadkari, Smriti Irani, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis addressed election meetings.

On the other hand, other star campaigners including Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi, and party general secretary Priyanka Gandhi have campaigned in Madhya Pradesh. On the other hand, Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi party general secretary Priyanka Gandhi, and other star campaigners campaigned in Madhya Pradesh.

Regarding Kamal Nath, many people in Congress believe that he works like a Chief Executive Officer (CEO). He addressed two election rallies daily, while Chouhan (64 years) addressed around eight to ten rallies daily to garner support for his party. It is the result of the BJP’s strategy, issues, and hard work that it has made a tremendous comeback to power.
