Israel-Iran Conflict, Israel-Iran Attacks LIVE
New Delhi: Iran declared early on Wednesday (June 18, 2025) that it had launched hypersonic missiles at Israel as part of the latest series of overnight assaults between the two rivals, shortly after Donald Trump urged the Islamic Republic to surrender unconditionally.
The U.S. president asserts that Washington has not participated in the bombing operations carried out by its ally Israel; however, he warned Iran that his patience is waning as the conflict nears its sixth day.
Israeli fighter jets targeted the Iranian capital just before dawn on Wednesday after the military issued a warning for civilians to evacuate a specific district for their safety.
The Israeli military subsequently reported that it had attacked sites associated with weapons manufacturing and a facility in Tehran used for centrifuge production.
Iran warned residents of Tel Aviv to prepare for an assault, with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps claiming that its hypersonic Fattah-1 missiles were “repeatedly shaking the shelters” in the commercial hub.
The Guards announced in a message aired on state television that “the 11th wave of the proud Operation Honest Promise 3 utilizing Fattah-1 missiles” had been carried out.
Hypersonic missiles travel at speeds greater than five times the speed of sound and have the capability to maneuver during flight, making them harder to detect and intercept.
Furthermore, Iran sent a “swarm of drones” towards Israel, where the military reported intercepting two over the Dead Sea area.
