Train Incident in Odisha, Kamakhya Express Derailment: On March 30 (Sunday) at approximately 11:45 hours, a total of 11 coaches from train number 12551, the Bangalore-Kamakhya AC Superfast Express, derailed near Nergundi Station within the Cuttack-Nergundi Railway Section. This area is under the administrative oversight of the Khurda Road Division of East Coast Railway (ECoR).
As per ECoR officials, there have been no reported injuries or fatalities. Senior officials, including the General Manager of ECoR and the Divisional Railway Manager of Khurda Road, along with other high-ranking personnel, promptly arrived at the scene. An Accident Relief and Medical Relief Train has also been dispatched to assist.
