New Delhi: The Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) has mandated the implementation of GRAP-II in Delhi-NCR starting at 8:00 A.M. on October 22, 2024. This decision aims to combat the worsening air quality, with several areas reporting unhealthy AQI levels. Anand Vihar recorded an AQI of 226, while other locations like Mother Dairy Plant and ITO also fell into the “Unhealthy” to “Very Unhealthy” categories. The measures under Stage II will supplement existing Stage-I actions to address the deteriorating air quality effectively.
