Congress Bharat Nyay Yatra: Rahul Gandhi, the Congress leader, is planning a “Bharat Nyay Yatra.” Rahul is embarking on this new journey after completing the Bharat Jodo Yatra from September of last year to January 14 of this year. The goal of the “Bharat Nyay Yatra” is to give the populace social and economic justice. Beginning in Kanyakumari, the Bharat Jodo Yatra concluded in Kashmir. On this journey, Rahul went from south to north.

Concurrently, the northeastern state of Manipur will be the starting point of the Bharat Nyay Yatra, which will culminate in Mumbai, the capital of Maharashtra in the west. In this manner, Rahul will embark on the Bharat Nyay Yatra, traversing from east to west. The whole journey will cover 6200 km. The majority of the trip will be taken by bus, but there will also be some walking involved. The second iteration of the Bharat Jodo Yatra, known as Bharat Nyay Yatra, is scheduled to begin on January 14.

What is going to be special in the journey?

On January 14, Mallikarjun Kharge, the President of the Congress Party, will lead the Bharat Nyay Yatra in Manipur. The journey will formally start in this manner. Manipur, Nagaland, Assam, Meghalaya, West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Maharashtra are among the states that the Bharat Nyaya Yatra will cross.

How did the idea of traveling to India come about?

KC Venugopal, the general secretary of Congress, provided information regarding the Bharat Nyay Yatra on Wednesday, December 27. “On December 21, the Congress Working Committee unanimously decided that Rahul Gandhi ought to travel from East to West,” the speaker stated. Rahul Gandhi also consented to grant the CWC’s request.

He said, ‘All India Congress Committee has decided that Bharat Nyay Yatra will be conducted from Manipur to Mumbai from January 14 to March 20. In this journey, Rahul Gandhi is going to meet youth, women, and marginalized people. More and more people will be reached through bus travel. Some small parts of the journey will also be covered intermittently on foot.

What was Bharat Jodo Yatra?

The Bharat Jodo Yatra was initiated by Rahul Gandhi in September 2022 and concluded in January 2023. On September 7, Rahul Gandhi set out from Kanyakumari. He traveled more than 4500 kilometers on foot during this voyage. This journey was undertaken to strengthen and unite India. This visit greatly strengthened Congress’s organization. 30 January 2023 marked the end of the Bharat Jodo Yatra in Kashmir.

75 districts of 12 states and 2 union territories were covered through Bharat Jodo Yatra. Congress leaders took part in every state through which this yatra passed. Many prominent personalities were also seen participating in the Bharat Jodo Yatra.
