Who is Atul Limaye?
An engineer hailing from Nashik, Limaye left a multinational corporation nearly thirty years ago to dedicate himself to the RSS as a full-time pracharak. The newly appointed strategist for the Sangh initially focused on the western Maharashtra regions, such as Raigad and Konkan, before advancing to the role of Saha Prant Pracharak for the Devgiri Prant, which includes the Marathwada and North Maharashtra areas.
Limaye oversaw the western Maharashtra region, which encompasses Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Goa, during the BJP’s ascent to power in the state in 2014. Limaye’s role as a Saha Prant Pracharak provided him with valuable insights into the challenges confronting the agrarian economy of the state, as well as the socio-political dynamics of the region.
