Army Chief Asim Munir’s family fled abroad in a private aircraft

Pahalgam Terror Attack: In the aftermath of the Pahalgam terror attack, the Pakistani military is experiencing significant anxiety in response to India’s actions. General Asim Munir, the Chief of the Pakistan Army, has relocated his family abroad. Reports indicate that numerous officers from the Pakistan Army have also sent their families to locations in Britain and New Jersey via private jets.

On Friday, armed police and military personnel conducted searches in homes and forests for militants in Indian-administered Kashmir, following the tragic killing of 26 individuals earlier this week, marking the deadliest assault on civilians in nearly twenty years.

This militant attack has sparked widespread outrage and sorrow in India, leading to demands for action against Pakistan, which New Delhi accuses of supporting and financing terrorism in Kashmir—a region both countries claim and have previously fought over. The Indian Army Chief visited Srinagar, the capital of Indian Kashmir, while authorities conducted thorough searches in Pahalgam, the picturesque town where the attack occurred on Tuesday.

India has asserted that there were Pakistani elements involved in the attack, during which militants targeted 26 men in a meadow in the Pahalgam area, a claim that Islamabad has denied.
