Blasts heard in Lahore day after India’s strikes on Pak terror camps: Report

New Delhi: On Thursday, sirens blared and residents fled their homes in Lahore, Pakistan, following a series of loud explosions, as reported by Reuters and local news outlets.

This incident occurred a day after India conducted an operation named ‘Sindoor’ targeting terror camps in Pakistan, in retaliation for the Pahalgam terror attack that resulted in 26 fatalities.

Reports from local media indicated that the explosions were audible in the Gopal Nagar and Naseerabad neighborhoods of Lahore, close to Walton Airport. Footage captured individuals escaping their residences in fear, with visible plumes of smoke in the air.
According to police sources, the explosions may have been triggered by a drone, approximately 5-6 feet in size, which was allegedly neutralized by jamming its system.
