New Delhi: During a public address marking the foundation laying of Amaravati, Prime Minister Narendra Modi characterized the city as a representation of Andhra Pradesh’s ambitions, referring to it as a ‘dream becoming a reality’. He emphasized that Amaravati transcends being merely a city; it embodies a ‘Shakti’, a driving force that will propel the state towards modernization.
PM Modi expressed confidence that Amaravati would realize the aspirations of Andhra Pradesh’s youth, emerging as a frontrunner in fields such as artificial intelligence, green energy, and industrial growth. He assured citizens that the central government would expedite support to assist the state government in actualizing this vision. ‘Amaravati is not just one city. It is a Shakti.
A Shakti that enables Andhra Pradesh to be modern,’ the Prime Minister asserted. Furthermore, PM Modi reflected on his collaboration with Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, a prominent figure in the Telugu Desam Party known for his emphasis on technology and development. ‘Our Chandrababu Naidu mentioned my tech-savvy nature. I want to share that during my tenure as Gujarat’s Chief Minister, I closely observed how he operated in Hyderabad. I gained valuable insights from him, and now I have the chance to apply all that knowledge,’ he acknowledged, recognizing Chief Minister Naidu’s contributions.
Drawing from his own experiences, PM Modi remarked that Naidu’s proficiency in managing large-scale projects and embracing future technologies is unmatched. ‘Whether it involves future technology or extensive projects, Chandrababu Naidu is the right person for the job. Therefore, we must execute our plans efficiently and swiftly,’ he concluded, reaffirming his faith in the Chief Minister’s abilities.
