New Delhi: The Congress party announced its second list of candidates for the Maharashtra assembly elections on Saturday, following a Central Election Committee meeting. Girish Krushnarao Pandav will contest from the contentious Nagpur South seat.
With this announcement, the Congress has revealed a total of 71 candidates, having previously declared 48. The party maintains unity within the Maha Vikas Aghadi coalition, with final seat-sharing details expected soon.
Ramesh Chennithala expressed confidence in the coalition’s ability to form the government, while PCC chief Nana Patole predicted improved performance in the upcoming polls.
