Delhi CRPF School blast: Agencies probe mysterious ‘white powder’, ‘message’ angle

Delhi CRPF School blast

New Delhi: An explosion occurred in Delhi’s Rohini area on Sunday morning, attributed to low explosives. Authorities believe a crude bomb was used to damage the wall of the CRPF School, likely intended to send a message rather than cause harm.

A white powder, possibly ammonium nitrate, was found at the site, along with wires and a battery. The blast, heard at 7:30 am, shattered nearby windows but resulted in no injuries.

Police are reviewing CCTV footage and mobile data to identify individuals in the vicinity during the incident. Eyewitnesses initially thought an LPG cylinder had exploded.
