Gaya: suspected of spying Dalai Lama, Chinese Woman In Bihar To Be Deported Over Visa Rules
A Chinese woman in Bihar’s Gaya has been into police custody and will be deported back due to visa violations. Earlier, the police suspected her of spying on Dalai Lama, who is scheduled to participate at several events in Bihar this week.
The police had earlier released a sketch of this Chinese woman. The woman’s name is being told as Song Jialon. Police said that they had received information about a Chinese woman living in Gaya. He was getting inputs about this woman for two years.
Bodh Gaya SSP Harpreet Kaur told that the woman was staying in a guest house in Bodh Gaya. She came to India for the first time on 19 October 2019. After this she went back to Nepal in January 2020 and then came to India after 4 days on 20 January 2020. According to the visa rule, they were allowed to stay in India for 90 consecutive days but it was violated. On asking, the woman told that she had come to India on e-tourist visa and did not return after Corona and started living in Himachal Pradesh in India. On 22 December, she had come to Bodh Gaya to receive teachings from His Holiness the Dalai Lama. They are being sent to Delhi for deportation.
Of course the police is saying that prima facie only a case of visa violation has come to the fore. But now the question arises that the suspected woman had come here to listen to the discourse of the Dalai Lama, so why did she not register to join the teaching program. To listen to the teaching, first registration is necessary. Only then he is allowed to enter the venue. SSP could not answer this question. He said that the Chinese woman had not registered online for teaching. Many people don’t even get it done.

very short hair on the head and thin
Even when the police issued an alert, the woman’s name was mentioned as Song Jialon. His visa number is 901BAA2J and PP number- EH2722976. The woman has taken the form of a monk. She has very short hair on her head and she is thin.
It was difficult to find the woman due to Corona guidelines
Many challenges were faced in identifying this suspicious woman living as a monk. The guide line of Kovid-19 is also being followed in Bodh Gaya. The district administration has made masks mandatory. Due to this, the suspicious woman who came from China kept walking in Bodh Gaya wearing a mask and it was difficult to identify her easily.
Secondly, the appearance and stature of the foreign visitors from Tibet, Bhutan, Vietnam, Thailand, Japan and Myanmar are somewhat similar, so this was also a difficulty in identification.
